The Isle of Wight is a wonderful place to have a family adventure! Whilst staying at Brook House this year, you can enjoy one of the newest programmes of activity on the Isle of Wight, all based on We’re going on a bear hunt!
As seen on Channel 4, and based on the best-selling original children’s picture book, we’re teaming up with the makers of ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ for some very special Isle of Wight family adventures in 2018.
Throughout the year the Isle of Wight will be hosting some special exciting outdoor adventures. Highlights include a series of National Trust Bear Hunt Adventure Weekends where families can follow a Bear Hunt trail and claim their free “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” sticker… you may even see the Bear! Other events include a Bear Hunt Weekend at Robin Hill and a Bear Hunt themed Isle of Wight Children’s Literary Festival in October supported by Walker Books.
You can find out more about We’re Going on a Bear Hunt at the Visit Isle of Wight Visitor Information Centre, Newport.
The information centre will continue to provide general visitor information about the Isle of Wight, alongside news and updates about the Isle of Wight’s We’re Going on a Bear Hunt experiences.
A new, free Isle of Wight Bear Hunt adventure guide is available from ferry terminals to inspire your journey to the Island and from various points across the Island including Tourist Information Points. You can also download a PDF version of the Isle of Wight Bear Hunt adventure leaflet here.
Let us know how you find the activities – and we’d love to see your snaps on our social media pages.
